The do-it-yourselfer has been at work here. A new-construction window has been purchased and screwed onto the home with drywall screws. Guaranteed leak, guaranteed item needing attention, guaranteed to make buyer re-think this purchase. Notice the siding is cheap oriented strand board with a coat of paint.
This water heater has lived it's life. There is no sense trying to keep something like this around. This top end is corroded beyond belief and the bottom of the unit is leaking water out as fast as it comes in. The plumbing company would be happy to replace it if someone would just call.
Nails and staples thru this roof flashing are not sealed or caulked over, allowing water to run down the nail and staple shanks, drip thru the attic of the garage and stain the drywall ceiling below. Sometimes the easiest repairs are the simplest and cheapest.

The cover of this attic fan has become detached and blown away. The cover was found in the yard.

A creative way to plug a hose connection on a garbage disposal. That's an electrical fuse in the hose . . .

What the heck. Wad up everything electrical and tape it together. Hope it doesn't burn . . .

A foundation seriously leaking is something that can be very costly to repair. You don't want to see things like this in the home you're considering purchasing.
Note the cap on the end of this extension pipe on a water heater pressure relief valve. THIS IS DANGEROUS! If the heater builds pressure and needs to vent, it cannot--leading to catastrophic rupture and possibly a "missile" flying up thru the roof. Extension pipes must never be capped. Thankfully this isn't seen too often. But even once is too often.
This enterprising remodeler has installed a whirlpool tub under a main electric panel box, which is partially covered (protected?) by the towel. There is of course a shower as well. Twice the opportunity to be wet and splash some water into the electrical system. And this whirlpool tub was NOT GFI protected.
If you can grow corn in your gutters, they may need to be cleaned out . . .
